Yükselen Project Engineering has once again demonstrated its expertise in industrial facility projects by successfully completing the Koç Sandblasting Factory Project. This modern facility, designed to meet the increasing demands of the surface treatment and metal processing industry, stands out with its durability, efficiency, and compliance with international industrial standards.
The Koç Sandblasting Factory was developed to provide high-capacity and efficient sandblasting services for the metal industry. The project scope includes the construction of a large production hall, sandblasting booths, storage areas for raw materials and finished products, administrative offices, and technical rooms.
The facility was designed to support continuous production processes, ensuring operational efficiency while prioritizing occupational health and safety. The layout allows for smooth workflow management, separating sandblasting, painting, and storage areas to prevent cross-contamination and maintain production quality.
The factory building utilizes steel construction technology, allowing for wide-span interiors with high ceilings. This design minimizes the need for interior columns, creating open spaces suitable for large machinery, sandblasting booths, and heavy-duty equipment movement.
The sandblasting booths were designed to meet international safety and environmental standards. High-performance ventilation and dust collection systems were integrated to ensure clean air circulation and protect workers' health. Additionally, the facility incorporates automatic abrasive recycling systems, reducing material waste and improving operational efficiency.
The electrical and mechanical systems were designed to ensure maximum energy efficiency. LED industrial lighting, high-capacity compressors, and optimized air distribution systems were installed to support the high-energy requirements of sandblasting operations.
The Yükselen Project Engineering team carried out detailed soil surveys and geotechnical analyses before construction to ensure the facility’s durability and safety. The steel structural components were prefabricated and assembled on-site, significantly reducing construction time while maintaining strict quality control standards.
